Bernedoodles and the Reasons We Love Them So Much....

In the realm of canine companions, few breeds capture the hearts of humans quite like the Bernedoodle! A hybrid of the Bernese Mountain Dog and the Standard Poodle, a Bernedoodle is celebrated for it’s blend of physical beauty, intelligence, gentle and affectionate nature. They are engaging and incredibly responsive to their humans.

Here at Cobblestone Bernedoodles, we often tell people that we cannot articulate well enough how wonderful our Bernedoodles are, a person must experience it for themselves to full understand the bond and joy our Bernedoodles bring!

We all know how much fun (mostly) a new puppys is with all of the cuteness, the puppy breath, the little puppy barks and tail wags. But a Bernedoodle even as an adult brings so much joy, comic relief, loyalty and companionship to our lives it’s really easy to forget they aren’t humans!

The Bernedoodle intelligence level is really almost genius and I fully believe they understand a lot of small talk and chit chat and not just the “dog words” like sit, down, etc. They excel at obedience training and more complex things like agility and therapy dogs.

While the non to low shedding is a big thing (It’s really nice to avoid dog hair everywhere), it’s their charming personalities that gives them the “It” factor and that is what draws so many people to Bernedoodles. We say this often - it’s like they are humans in a Bernedoodle costume! Along with the sweet, kind personalities, they also have a really funny side. Their expressive eyes will melt your heart and you can really see what they’re feeling, wether it’s excitement, disgust (bath time), compassion or joy - our Bernedoodles show their heart through their expressions!

A Bernedoodle is loyal and true and will want to be by your side through the good and the not so good, always there as a rock of companionship. Need a cuddler? That’s a Bernedoodle - they still want to be lap dogs when they are fully grown! Our Bernedoodles absolutely want to go places and do things, even just going for a car ride sometimes. Bernedoodles form very deep bonds and want to be right in the middle of the chaos or the quiet long with their humans.
