As you can probably tell, we love history and good, strong characters of days gone by. So meet this handsome guy, we named him Bass Reeves. We name our pups with their personality in mind and the qualities we see that stand out in them at the time we name them. Bass was given his name because of his devotion and even keeled personality - along with his desire to make good choices (he almost always does). Bass the Bernedoodle is always easy going, doesn’t have to be the center of attention (we have some that think they are superstars the minute they’re born), is kind to his siblings, the cats and other dogs, and just a rock solid guy. The kind of guy you want in your life and in your corner.

Bass is open to do whatever is on the agenda for the day, and will even take his weekly bath without a complaint. You can see his relaxed manner in his expression. He’s not the most extroverted, nor introverted, just nice and level all the time - he’ll play and have a blast, but he’s also totally happy to settle down and watch some GunSmoke or Andy Griffith with Miss Julia. He may not always get the jokes about Barney, but he enjoys it like he does!

Looking for a best friend for a child? A senior citizen? Bass would be AWESOME! He’ll do well in any family situation, as long as he’s included in the family and given lots of communication! Our Bernedoodles love to “chat”, we find ourselves having full blown conversations with them, so who knows - they might even understand the local traffic report, current world events, or why the wrong person got sent home on The Bachelor. Just kidding, but they do seem to listen!
